WYKKED WTYCH

1-How did your bands name become to be? Who came up with the name? What inspired it?

WW: In the mid 90's people started calling me wicked, and i thought might as well name the band wykked wytch.

2. Do you prefer to stay underground with your band or want to be more known in the DEATH*BLACK* METAL world.

WW: The style of music that we have chosen to play is an underground style, whatever you want to label it, death/black/thrash, etc. Of course we want to be successful and known for what we do. The more exposure and fans that we gain is only beneficial, but we are not changing and watering down our music. If anything with the new record its heavier and rawer than before.

3. What thoughts go through your mind when writting your lyrics. How does the process for you start in writting a song.

WW: I have to hear the basic riffs or melodies of the song first and then can compose the appropriate lyrics for the song. It doesn't work for me to write lyrics first and try to squeeze them with any riffs. The music inspires my writing, and the mood effects the tone and focus of the lyrics.

4. Tell us alittle more on the new album coming out "Memories of a dying Whore" where did the name come from.

WW: Mainly with my fixation on true crime & rape and murder. I read and watch alot of documentaries on unsolved murders and mysteries. A lot of those involve the killings of prostitutes and young children. My inspiration is on reality and what is going through the victims head.

5. What does your touring schedule look like once this album is out.

WW: Once the album hits we plan on concentrating on Europe first & then doing an extensive US tours in late 2007.

6. The title of this coming album was changed. Explain more on why it was.

WW: "The Awakening" was originally just a working title that we were using in the writing process and came up with for first set of demos that were written for the album. As the writing progressed and we were approaching time to record the album "Memories of A Dying Whore" was a song/title that more represented the whole concept of the new album, so we changed the title.

7.What is one of the best highlights to your band.

WW: The tour with Kreator in 2002. That was a dream come true since Kreator is one of my all time favorite metal bands.

8. Balls in your court...Spit your Hails out to the world.

WW:fuck everyone ,if you don't like Metal, Big Fuck you!!
